Apivita’s cleansing foam review
Personally, I discovered my “go-to” face wash at 27 while working at a pharmacy. Until then I was struggling with products that didn’t deliver on their promise.
Disclosure: Before I go into it I would like to say that there may be affiliate links involved and if you make a purchase I receive a small commission that is included in the price. Nevertheless, I only promote products I truly believe in. Daramiblog offers information that is designed for educational purposes only. As I had the chance to experiment with different products, I tried Apivita’s cleansing foam with olive and lavender. I have to say, I have been obsessed with this foam ever since.
The first thing that attracted me was the fact that it was intended for not only the face but also the eyes. Not many products work for both. Two birds with one stone as they say. I can now wash my face and eyes using the same product without using two different ones.
I know that not many people pay attention to this but if you use products that are not intended for a specific area, you might be doing more harm than good.
Now let’s see the ingredients…
Apivita’s cleansing foam has 92% natural ingredients.
Those natural ingredients include Saponaria, Olive, Levander, Propolis, Panthenol, and Green tea infusion to name just a few! I know that if you are a levander fan your eyes are wide open 😊.
The product is free of SLES & SLS, parabens, silicones, propylene, glycol, mineral oil, ethanolamine, phthalates, and PCM.
Let’s be honest we all want to use harmless products. After all, we have seen and heard about some substances, it is only normal to “go natural”.
Useful facts about Apivita’s cleansing foam:
Apivita has replaced water as one of the ingredients with green tea infusion.
Why is that important you might ask?
Tea infusion is believed to be very antioxidant, anti bacterial, and anti inflammatory. Those 3 important features are active when the foam is applied and will leave your skin visibly clear and smooth as silk.
Texture:
The texture is a thick creamy foam. Even though, on the bottle, it says” foam “it is actually in a creamy form. It resembles a liquid soap more rather than a foam. I have no idea why they came up with the ” cleansing foam” title.
Value for money:
The product comes in a 200 ml (found here for USD22 ) and occasionally there is a limited edition of 300 ml. So, the price varies depending on the bottle but considering that the 200 ml lasts for about 3 months I would say it is worth every penny.
I am well aware that many of you are in a dilemma when choosing a new face wash and that’s why I wrote some advantages and disadvantages of the product. I hope they are helpful.
Pros:
- Ideal for all skin types
- It removes dirt by only using one drop.
- It removes makeup from both the face and the eyes.
- Leaves the skin feeling fresh.
- It smells amazing.
Cons:
- It might dry your face if more than one drop is used. So please do not overdo it.
- It does not remove water-resistant/long-lasting makeup.
If I happen to wear waterproof mascara and long-lasting lipstick I use BI-PHASE water to remove it first and then wash my face with the cleansing foam. Here is the one I use all the time!
Overall, I am very pleased with the product and I have been using it for the last 5 years. I also hooked my partner on it too😊.
Tip: If applied using a sea sponge it can act as a mild peeling procedure.
