How many characters can I use on an Instagram caption?

Captions can be up to 2,200 characters long but that doesn’t necessarily mean you need to use all 2,200 characters.

You just need to be able to strike some kind of emotion or convey a message in such a way that your audience will bombard you with likes and comments๐Ÿ˜Ž !

How many hashtags can I use in an Instagram caption?

To date, you are allowed to use up to 30 hashtags. Some people claim that the ideal number, for you to use would be between 15-20 others would advise you to use all 30.

The thing is that the more well-researched hashtags you use, the more chances you get for exposure. Experiment with what works best for you and your brand.

Lately, I try to use as much as I can๐Ÿ˜Š depending on how much time I have. I do research them which is time-consuming but worth it.

How to write an Instagram caption?

The most important thing to remember about captions is that they have to speak to the content you’re sharing and to your audience.

Because captions are cut off in usersโ€™ feeds after a few lines of text, you need to convey your key point or call to action right away.

Here a few questions to consider when writing your caption.

Your answers will give you a better idea of what language to use in your caption and which emotions you want to convey through your posts.
